Half Me - Full Me

After a discussion with a colleague at work, she mentioned that she felt half herself – I pondered what this means – we tend to use the half glass empty or half full analogy quite often and use this to approach our attitude to how we see life and its challenges. It got me thinking that most of us operate in life with less than our full potential or capacity that we possess. Let me paint a picture, we were created perfect and complete, regardless what our genetics, DNA, the limitations based on physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. We as babies did not know what was missing until we started to grow up. We then start to collect the feedback from theperception, view and events in our world , environment,  to what others tell us like parents, friends and society. All this is collected through our five senses,  then this will either create what is possible in our life or what is not possible in our life scenarios – i.e. I’m too short = can never be a professional basketball player, was bought up in poor family = will never have same opportunities or education required as others – this then shapes our thinking and assessment of ourselves and we start to create the future from this space. Life could beanything and everything toexactly how we can imagine it, and start to create it and the start to live it!

Nick Vujicic https://www.lifewithoutlimbs.org/  is an amazing example of a person who saw past all his physical limitations of having no arms and no legs and decided that he was born with everything he needed to make a lasting and amazing impact on the world – Today Nick has reached over 6 million people in over 57 countries and counting and shows us that regardless of circumstance we can see ourselves as a Full me, fully expressed and aiming and striving to see what our potential and capacity really is......We were given a V8 engine and we go around driving ourselves in limiting 40km roads, let’s get onto the freeway and open up the amazing engine we were given and truly see what we can do, what we are capable of, what could be possible – Imagine the possibilities – scary isn’t it – but it’s worth giving it our allin the face of not getting it right, needing to look good, avoiding failure, not being accepted, maybe getting it wrong – Here is to the Full You, the Full me the Fullness of this gift of life in all of us.......
