Solving the puzzle of life is like solving the Rubiks cube
Are you like me when you look at a Rubik’s Cube, and you think to yourself where do I start, how do I get to the end of this puzzle, is it even possible, Do I have the patience and the desire to want to explore an navigate the pathway to solve this puzzle. Like many of us it seems too hard, so we just look to those who have conquered this and wonder – How did they do that? , Did they really work it out, or did someone else give them the code or strategy to solve or do it
The answer is all of the above, they could have worked it out themselves or they could have learned the strategies and modelled these from someone else who has.....If we can look at life and get comfortable with the simple truth that it is a series of events, actions, challenges, moments, planning and strategies to get us where we want to go and what we want to create or have. We all want to look back and hope that we say - I ran the good race, I left the best legacy, the planet was better off because of me – In that place we find truth, peace and happiness knowing our life was meant for a greater purpose where at any one moment in time we were only conscious of 10-20% of what was ahead and what we required
So back to the Rubik’s cube and what does this example illustrate to us so we could use this to our advantage to help us navigate, solve and move through the game of life
We were all created with an amazing capacity to think, analysis, sort, plan anything and everything, from being curious, focused and connected, to getting things accomplished whether it’s for work or play, passion or adventure, legacy or the impossible – we become the creators and solvers of all life’s opportunities – always having a desire to go further better and deeper than others before us.
The Rubik’s Cube is not impossible to solve, it requires a set of steps in following patterns and codes to ensure that you get all the colours matching each side accordingly, so really decoding the puzzle is the hard work, like anything new it is a challenge as we need to understand the dimensions and aspects of that new world of knowledge , information. Its specific DNA and then we get to understand what association or information we can leverage which is already within us we could use to solve or create a plan, solution, new idea to move forward and solve the problem
The end result of completing a Rubik’s cube or for that matter anything in life is having a picture or view of the end result – what does it look like, if it is a house we are building – how big, how many floors, rooms, type of fittings, aspects, what position, what materials, there are so many different variables and these details can changes as we move along the path of action – ACTINGON – moving forward, adjusting, planning, moving forward again to what – to the picture or the idea we see as the end result.
Only through much thought, planning, journaling, collaboration, goal setting and much action can we achieve any result of what might even seem impossible – the cool thing is once we have worked out and decoded the steps and strategies to solve the Rubik’s cube puzzle – we can then do it again and again and again – and we can apply this to anything we choose if we seek to gain mastery or expertise in that area – it is now all just a learned set of sequences and a strategy that outlines the steps and action to get the desired result – Dream , create and do then work out how as you move forward – always move forward and always learn and adjust as you move – you become the master of change, adversity and any challenges that come your way because you now can be the master puzzle solver in Life
